Name: Campbell Lake
Age/Grade: 15; sophomore
Date: Sept. 26
Where to Find the Look: La De Da
Trademark: "Definitely my colorful scarf that I borrowed from my mom," Lake said.
What Appealed to Me: I was searching for a student who could "jazz up" the dress code after receiving my first assignment for my new blog, and when I was coming out of class, Lake's outfit instantly caught my eye. Her ankle-high Frye cowboy boots are perfect for the fall. It's the time when the cool climate is just a little too warm for Uggs but needy for some statement boots. Her scarf pulls in multiple ranges of bright colors, making an exciting change from the dull color options of red, white and black.
"She adds her own little unique touch," Jane Ward ('16) said.
About a week after the first day of school, scarves were placed back on the dress code for the girls in the high school who became astatic upon hearing the news. Lake goes even further as to straightening her naturally curly hair for a change from her everyday look.
"I think Campbell always looks gorgeous," Maddie Robinson ('16) said, "and rocks the uniform."
She was able to take a plain khaki skort and polo from Land's End and make a very chic look with her accessories.
