At this same time last year, I didn’t think I would go study abroad and I also didn't think it would be possible for me to do it. Fortunately, I knew a friend of my dad, who is the president of a study abroad agency. He talked about his daughter and son studying in America and how they are really good, mature and knowledgeable now. My parents and I started to get interested in it.
I am a new student at North Cross High School, this is my first year here, as a freshman. I’ve been wanting to go to America to study, but I have never thought I would go for high school. “Why don’t we try, huh?“ said my mom. I actually hesitated a bit. After I tried searching the North Cross website, I was kind of excited to see what North Cross is like. I agreed with my mom. My dad also hesitated because he didn’t want his daughter to be away from her parents at a young age but he agreed. As long as I want something, my parents will always support me no matter what. And now, I am at here, at North Cross, I finally made it! I know I will have some problems at first, but it is not a big deal, I believe I can go through it easily. We can do anything as long as we really want to do it. “Don’t be scared to try new things, life begins at the end of your comfort zone.“ I really like this sentence, it really gives me a refreshing feeling about new experiences I’m going to face with.

AuthorI’m Lam, a high school student from North Cross School. I’ll be turning 14 this year and I am a Hanoian in Vietnam. I was at the Ha Noi Old Quarter, which is the center of Ha Noi. Although in this picture you can’t see all of the streets, it looks totally amazing outside. I was chilling looking at all of the little cute things and streets there. I was really excited but also sad. I love this picture as I look cute. I love Ha Noi. And one more thing makes me like this picture even more is that my friend took it really randomly, so it is even natural. ArchivesCategories |
