No Body, No Crime is a true crime podcast that focuses on not only true crime cases, but also focuses on reacting to scary movies. If you like scary movies and true crime documentaries, you will like this podcast!
“After listening to Nola and Dara’s podcast, No Body, No Crime, I am very interested in watching more shows like adolescence,” Emily Nguyen said, “Even if your favorite thing isn’t true crime or scary movies, it is still fun to hear your classmates speak about this topic.” No Body, No Crime, not only reacts to movies and documentaries, but also shares impactful insight on events that take place in life.
“Do you think sociopaths are born or made?” Nola asks Dara.
If you are a fan of having physiological conversations and movies/shows that make you think psychologically, this podcast is for you! The episode that just got released is the first part of the No Body, No Crime.. It focuses on the TV series Adolescence and talks about certain scenes and character development that takes place during the series.
“Did you ever think that Jamie was innocent?” Dara asks Nola.
“I thought that since he was originally accused,” Nola says, “that there would be a twist to where it wasn’t him.I thought maybe someone even put him up to it, he isn’t even 18.”
If you want to hear more discussion concerning this critically acclaimed show, Adolescence, “Many calling it a flawless and powerful TV drama,” watch No Body, No Crime.  If you stay updated with the No Body, No Crime podcast, you will see that Adolescence is only the start of this topic. Adolescence is not necessarily “true crime”, although Nola Daninger and Dara Kerman saw that everyone is talking about this series recently and wanted to put their “true crime” subject to the side, for one podcast. If you aren’t interested in watching TV shows, and more documentaries, this podcast is also for you!
The next episode will be a reaction to true crime cases that relate to Adolescence, and even one of the cases that the show was based on. Adolescence is actually based on events that took place where many young boys were stabbing teenage girls. According to Elle News, the number of cases increased between 2012 and 2023. The number of victims increased from 27,000 to 50,000. Unfortunately, about 17.3 of these cases involve juveniles between the ages of 10-17. One of the cases that Adolescence is based off of is the case of Axel Rudakubana, who killed three girls between the ages of 6 and 9 years old. Rudakubana was 17 years old during this time and was sentenced to a minimum of 52 years in jail back in January. Another example is in 2024, when a 15-year-old girl named Holly  was stabbed repeatedly by a 16-year-old that later was found to be stalking her. In 2023, a 17-year-old girl was stabbed to death in south London after she “refused flowers from a boy” as she and her friends made their way to school.
There are way too many cases like this to count, this proves that Adolescence needed to be released mostly, to spread awareness of all of these horrible cases. If you want to hear about all of the other cases, watch the second episode of No Body, No Crime, where a special guest will make an appearance! After these episodes, stay tuned for less “popular” cases that No Body, No Crime will cover.
