This is a dive into my life during North Cross School, travels, sports, and more.
I, Rowan Anderson, have been to nine different countries. One of those countries is England, which I have a citizenship in. Just last spring I went to Spain for two weeks. I go to England quite often because my mom was born there and as a result I have citizenship in England . I was born in Floyd County, Va and have lived there for most of my life, only moving to Roanoke for a few years. However, I am now back in Floyd. I joined North Cross School four years ago and have participated in soccer and lacrosse in this time. “It’s always been a goal of mine to visit as many countries as possible,” Rowan said during his latest trip to Spain. I have not visited as many states as I would like. I have basically gone to the whole East Coast, but Ii don't feel that these states vary much between each other, so I would like to go to the Midwest. I have however gone to Washington state where my parents met and got married. I went to some of the rainforests and got to visit the town of Forks where Twilight was filmed, I actually found it a very boring place. “I think I might try out basketball this year,” Rowan said at the start of the year even though he has never actually played basketball before and thinks that it's worth a try.

RowanI'm Rowan Anderson. I am new to journalism and highschool. This is my fourth year at North Cross School and I hope it's a good one.I live in and was born in Floyd County, Va. I lived in Roanoke for a short time during my kindergarten years but shortly moved back to Floyd. I spent a while looking for a good picture but in the end settled on this one. This picture was taken last month on my trip through Vermont, and I feel it is the only good full face picture that is presentable. I am excited to learn more about journalism and see how this class goes. I play a lot of soccer and basketball and like to think that I'm at least decent at both of these sports. I really hate looking at pictures of myself and that makes it rather more difficult to write this. ArchivesCategories |
